Every team is different – which is why every retreat at Landgoed Leudal is unique. Our retreat in the countryside not far from the German-Dutch border offers the ideal setting for intensive collaboration, time out together or creative processes. What does a typical day with us look like? Our guests alone decide. We create the conditions and respond to your individual needs.

Individual and free: the start of the retreat day

A retreat usually begins with the arrival of the responsible organizer or contact person for the group. They receive the keys and a personal briefing at our reception. We then guide the group to their area with the common rooms and private accommodation. An area that belongs entirely to the group for the next few days.

Standard is that nothing is standard

There is no standard program at Landgoed Leudal. Each group decides for itself how it wants to spend the day. Most start with a warm welcome, handing over the keys and a brief introduction to the accommodation – from then on, the place belongs entirely to the guests. Our special concept: each group keeps to itself. All rooms, kitchens, outdoor areas and terraces are reserved exclusively for your own team. You are – quite deliberately – in your own group bubble, with no contact with other guests. Everyone who has already visited Landgoed Leudal particularly appreciates this.

Inspiration indoors and outdoors

Our various areas offer spacious, flexibly combinable common rooms and overnight accommodation for 7 to 300 people – ideal for workshops, discussions, creative sessions or retreats. There is a house-like, inspiring atmosphere in which even formal meetings feel easy. Whether with a projector, flipchart or simply by the fire. Here, new ideas are born in passing!

The outdoor areas are at least as popular: fire pits, barbecue areas, meadows, private terraces and our unique Ophyr – a combined fire and barbecue area – invite you to socialize or hold team events in the open air. After an intensive day, the perfect retreat is also provided, as every guest can look forward to their own private accommodation.

Culinary delights with flexibility

Catering is provided by regional catering partners who are agreed with the group in advance. Whether vegetarian, vegan, international or with other special requests – many things are possible. Groups can also prepare their own meals. Each accommodation has a fully equipped group kitchen. BBQ evenings at the Ophyr or cooking together as a team are particularly popular in the summer months.

Nature as an essential part of the retreat

Landgoed Leudal is located right next to a protected Natura 2000 area – one of the most species-rich nature reserves in the Netherlands. Guests experience nature up close: walks through the forest, sports sessions in the meadows, birdsong instead of street noise. Depending on the weather, many groups spend almost the entire day outdoors. For us, nature is not a “nice extra”, but an essential part of the retreat.
